UNIQO SOURCING

Home Textiles

Terry, robes and linen from the region that built the category.

Towels, bathrobes, beach towels and peshtemals, bed and table linen — developed to your weight, construction and hand feel, produced in Turkey and inspected before it ships.

What we make

Bath, beach, bed and table — a distinct supply base from apparel, matching the mill to the product rather than forcing every requirement through the same supplier.

Bath towels & towel sets

Combed and ring-spun cotton, Zero Twist, ribbed and dobby constructions, from lightweight everyday weights up to heavy hotel-grade GSM. Border, hem and packaging developed with the product, not bolted on afterwards.

Bathrobes

Terry, velour, waffle and hooded constructions in adult and children's sizing. Hotel and retail specifications behave differently — durability against wash cycles versus hand feel at first touch — and are costed accordingly.

Beach towels & peshtemals

Printed and yarn-dyed beach towels, and traditional flat-woven peshtemals in cotton and cotton-linen blends. A category where Turkey's weaving tradition is the product, not the backstory.

Bath mats & bathroom textiles

Woven and tufted mats, coordinated to a towel programme so a full bathroom range ships together and matches on shade.

Bed linen

Percale, sateen and washed cotton, plain and printed, in duvet, sheet and pillowcase programmes. Thread count is the least useful number in the category; construction and finishing decide how it feels after twenty washes.

Table & kitchen textiles

Tablecloths, napkins, runners, tea towels and aprons in woven cotton and linen, including coordinated capsule programmes.

Throws & blankets

Woven and knitted throws in cotton, cotton blends and recycled yarns, plain, jacquard and fringed.

Specification is where home textile programmes are won or lost.

Two towels at the same GSM can feel completely different depending on yarn, twist, pile height and finishing. We develop against the hand feel you want and then hold the vendor to it — rather than approving a lab dip and hoping the bulk matches.

Why Turkey for home textiles

Turkey has one of the world's deepest production ecosystems for terry and cotton home textiles, with Denizli at its centre.

Cotton and yarn depth

Domestic and imported long-staple cotton, combed and ring-spun capability, and organic and BCI programmes running as standard rather than as a special request.

Weaving and finishing

Terry, jacquard, dobby and flat-weave capability in a single cluster, with dyeing and finishing houses in the same region. Shorter development loops and fewer handovers between suppliers.

Certification and traceability

OEKO-TEX certified finishing, GOTS-certified organic programmes where required, and factory audits under BSCI, Sedex or your own protocol.

How a home programme runs

The same sequence as apparel, with the development weight shifted forward.

Development first

Yarn, weight, construction and finishing are agreed and physically approved before costing is locked. In home textiles the sample is the specification.

Shade continuity

Towels, mats and robes in one range must match across different constructions. Dye lots are planned together rather than ordered separately.

Inspection against your standard

Inline and final inspection covering GSM, dimensions after wash, absorbency, colour fastness and packaging — reported against your own AQL.

Pricing you can see.

In home textiles the cost structure is yarn, weaving or knitting, dyeing, finishing, weight and size, and packaging. Different drivers from apparel, interrogated the same way — line by line, against the market.
